What is the key to improving performance while preventing injury?

Efficient biomechanics.

Inefficiencies in movement mechanics, such as improper joint alignments or coordination, result in impaired force production and transfer during athletic movement, limiting overall capacity for performance. Additionally, poor biomechanics can lead to imbalanced and excessive loading of muscle tissues, tendons, ligaments, and joints which over time can manifest as soft tissue injuries.

Join biomechanics specialist, Matthew O’Neill, on Saturday, October 28th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm for a workshop on the fundamental biomechanics of strength training. Topics covered will include:

  • core stability
  • intrinsic foot strength
  • overhead support
  • squat mechanics

Learn about strength training and injury prevention through the lens of biomechanics, and discover what may be the missing cog in your training program.
